Short Bio

I received all of my higher education in France. After getting my PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse) in 1998, I spent more than a decade in Milan (Italy), first as a senior researcher at Genetica srl from October 1999 to December 2004 and then as a research associate at the Information Technology Department of the Università degli Studi di Milano from January 2005 to August 2010. Since september 2010, I am Maître de Conférences at the Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis.

My main research interests are BDI agents, Data Mining, Information Retrieval, Computational Intelligence and Planning under Incomplete Knowledge.

For all those who are curious about my origins:  they are from São Tomé and Príncipe.
