Oscilloscup Oscilloscup is a Java2D data plotting framework inspired by GNUPlot. Its development is motivated by the need of scientific applications to expose at runtime their behaviour. The API of Oscilloscup enable Java applications to either generate image log files (PNG, JPEG, PDF, PostScript, SVG, etc) or to render the plots within a specific Swing component in their graphical user interface. QAKiS QAKiS addresses the task of Question Answering over structured Knowledge Bases (e.g. DBpedia) where the relevant information is expressed also in unstructured form (e.g. Wikipedia pages). QAKiS allows end users to submit a query to an RDF triple store in English and obtain the answer in the same language, hiding the complexity of the non intuitive formal query languages involved in the resolution process. At the same time, the expressiveness of these standards is exploited to scale to the huge amounts of available semantic data. Its major novelty is to implement a relation-based match for question interpretation, to convert the user question into a query language (e.g. SPARQL). English, French, Italian and German DBpedia chapters are the RDF data sets to be queried using a natural language interface. Contact : Elena Cabrio

SageMath Graph Algorithms SageMath is a free open-source mathematics software system, that builds on top of many existing open-source packages : NumPy, SciPy, matplotlib, Sympy, Maxima, GAP, FLINT, R and many more. Access their combined power through a common, Python-based language or directly via interfaces or wrappers. Comred contribution consists in adding new graph algorithms along with their documentations and the improvement of underlying data structures. Contact : David Coudert

icone rdf Semantic Web Import Plugin for Gephi Visualization The SemanticWebImport plugin is intended to allow the import of semantic data into Gephi open graph visualization platform. Gephi is an interactive visualization and exploration platform for all kinds of networks and complex systems, dynamic and hierarchical graphs. The imported data are obtained by processing a SPARQL query over open linked data end-points thanks to the embedded CORESE engine. It has received a development grant (ADT) from Inria. The software is released under Cecill-C licence. Contact : Erwan Demairy INRIA I3S

TimeSquare TimeSquare is an MDK (Model Development Kit) provided as a set of Eclipse plugins that can be downloaded or installed over an existing Eclipse. TimeSquare is based on the formal Clock Constraint Specification Language (CCSL), which allows the manipulation of logical time. TripPlanner TripPlanner is a tool for computing a minimum cost trip across multiple cities when neither the order in which to visit the cities nor the sojourn duration in these cities are fully specified. The cost of a trip includes both the price of all airplane tickets necessarily for the trip plus the price of the hotels (both costs depend on the exact travel date) at which the user will sojourn. The trip planner is also able to compute the k cheapest trips. TripPlanner is written in Python and uses the linear programming interface of Sagemath . This work is done in collaboration with the R&D service of the "Train Transportation" division of Amadeus. BNF Antepedia Deposit 2015-09-23-16-11-18 Contact : David Coudert

VAPOR In the context of the European Grid Infrastructure, researchers are organized in grid user communities named virtual organisations (VO), to which computing and storage resources are allocated by resource providers. VAPOR, the Vo Administration and operations PORtal, is a generic tool meant to help community managers and support teams in performing daily administrative and operational tasks. VAPOR consists of a set of tools focused around three main topics: * consolidating data from the infrastructure information system to provide synthetic views of resources, * run monitoring jobs to calculate rates of resources working/not working/overloarded, * assist in the community data management with automatic scans of storage elements and cleanup of old files left behind by former users.
