Brief Biography
He began as a CNRS research engineer in 2002 and joined the planetology and space sciences team of the Paris Physics Institute, for which he was responsible for the electronics of the SEIS instrument (broadband seismic sensor which landed on Mars in November 2018, embarked on the NASA Insight mission). Following that, he joined the IPGP volcanology team to design and deploy a regional seismological network for seismic monitoring and tsunami warning in the Caribbean, where he was appointed technical director of the volcanic and seismological observatory of Guadeloupe. Since 2017, Andre has been working in the field of aerial robotics in the I3S laboratory, computer science laboratory, Signals and Systems of Sophia Antipolis. Prior to becoming a Research Engineer, André obtained his Bachelor degree at Versailles in 1996. He continued his studies with an degree in industrial electronic computer engineering in Cachan in 1998. He then obtained a diploma in electronic and industrial computer engineering at Polytech Paris-UPMC (Pierre and Marie University Curie) in 2001.
Background and Position
André Anglade is a Research Engineer at the the I3S-CNRS laboratory of the University of the Cote d’Azur. He has paricipated in the European H2020 project COMANOID aimed at Multi-Contact Collaborative Humanoids in Aircraft Manufacturing. He currenlty participates in the H2020 project MEMEX aimed at large scale mapping of city environments.
