  • I am Full Professor at the Université Côte d'Azur (formerly Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis-UNS), teaching at Polytech'Nice Sophia. Previously, I belonged to the computer science departement of the Sciences Faculty, department that I co-leaded from September 2008 during two years.
I have been delegated at INRIA, September 2004-2006

From March 2016 to December 2019, I have been member of the Academic Council of UNS, elected member of the Research Commission. Since 2018, I'm an elected member of the Conseil d'Ecole of Polytech Nice Sophia. Since late 2020, I'm an elected member of the Comité Scientifique et Pédagogique (CoSP) of the Digital Systems and Humans (DS4H) Graduate School.
In 2017-18, I have participated as member of the HCERES evaluation committee of the Sorbonne Université LIP6 laboratory.

I represent UNS/UCA in the KIC Digital of the EIT since 2011 and in particular for the Master school.
I used to coordinate the UCA involvement in the master in Data Science which I have co-created with EIT Digital partners in 2015.
Now, I'm involved in the coordination of UCA involvement in the master in Financial Technologies which I have co-created with EIT Digital partners in 2020.
Find more information about these Master 1 and Master 2 specializations on EIT Digital dedicated pages at Polytech web site.

From September 2016 to September 2018, I was responsible for the Polytech Nice-Sophia' Master 2 and 5th year Engineering speciality called IMAFA (Informatique et Mathématiques Appliquées à la Finance et aux Assurances) as a follow-up of my colleague Anne-Marie Hugues.

Since September 2019, I'm leading the 4th year of the Sciences Informatiques speciality of Polytech Nice-Sophia engineering school, both for the standard cursus and the specialized cursus with apprentice.

My past and partly current teaching activities I'm involved in, with some other colleagues, are about distributed algorithms, middleware, parallelism , and JEE multi-tiers platform for IMAFA students. I'm also teaching Java and an introduction to Java and the Web, to PeiP2 students.

My scientific activities were awarded by the Prime d'Encadrement Doctoral et de Recherche (PEDR), Prime d'Excellence Scientifique (PES), without any break from 2001 to 2017.

My main research interests are around Programming Models and Middleware for parallel or distributed computing

As member of the Scale (and previously OASIS) team, I work around active objects technology as ProActive, part of  the ObjectWeb - OW2 consortium.
