The first SUMARE workshop was dedicated to the theme Information Processing for Environmental Modeling and Surveying
it took place at I3S on June 21st 1999 and gathered more than 20 persons.

The second SUMARE workshop was dedicated to the theme Navigation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles
and was held in the installations of the Observatoire Océanologique de Villefranche-sur-Mer on December 13th 2000.

The third SUMARE workshop was dedicated to the theme Underwater Robotics for Ocean Modelling and Monitoring
it took place at I3S on december 17st-18st 2001.
