I3S's Platforms

A low-cost ROV platform of I3S-OSCAR team is available for developments and validations within CONGRE (Figure 1). This platform has been upgraded from the BlueROV kit with high level functionalities such as homography estimation and homography-based dynamic positionning. Since this platform is not hydrodynamically designed for moving at high speed, we intend to build another platform with a slender-body shape using the financial aids of ANR for the project. This will facilitate preliminary validations of the developed control and estimation algorithms before implementing them in the platforms of ALSEAMAR.
